Never forgetting the day.....

On November 3rd, 2002 we almost lost Johanna to a terrible horseback riding accident........but we didn't!...THANKFULLY! So every Nov. 3rd (it was crazy with the guys here so celebrated last night) we celebrate her life, thanking all the angels that intervened on her behalf that day. How many times have Angels intervened in our lives to save us from tragedy? We always wonder why when something terrible happens to us or someone we know, but we seldom thank God for sending angels to protect us. How many close calls have we had in this life that we know about? I bet there are plenty of others that we have been absolutely oblivious too. God is good all the time. All the time God is good. We enjoyed a dinner out last night including a big dessert (we never get desserts out!) to celebrate God's goodness to us and the wonderful blessing it is to have Johanna still with us. She is a special girl, wonderfully made, and we are looking forward to how God will use her for His purposes in the years to come.
