Joshua goes HOME!

"Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where O death is your victory? Where O death is your sting?" the sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law. but thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." I Cor. 15:54b -56.

A faithful man of God who made NO EXCUSES despite a completely broken down body (no legs or arms), who had to be carted around in a wagon any time he wanted to go somewhere. He always attended the Joshua Soccer Academy training sessions to read (someone had to hold the bible for him....one of the boys on the team would) God's Word and to teach his boys about the Christian life. he was radiant with Christ love and full of the Holy Spirit the two times I met with him. This was a life well lived. A significant life. The single missionary nurse to Nigeria who was in the hospital the day he was born was a friend of our family's and supported by Parkminister Church in Rochester, NY. Miss Pinneo had quite the impact on my life for missions. She was one of the only survivors of scarlet fever back in the day. To think God orchestrated my connection to her and then to Joshua is simply powerful in my eyes. What an AMAZING GOD we serve. Thank You God for the opportunity to serve the people of Nigeria in your name like Miss Pinneo and Joshua. Two faithful and obedinet SERVANTS of God who made no excuses and served all out for your Kingdom and your GLORY not their own. Enjoy heaven Joshua and THANK YOU for your courage and obedience to YOUR Lord and Savior, you inspired so many to do the same. We will pray those 35 boys you served will impact your town, the city of Jos, the nation of Nigeria and to the ends of the earth for the cause of Christ. To God and God alone be the Glory.
